The Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (SURF) Award program provides thousands of dollars in support of undergraduate students' summer research or creative projects. The SURF program is open to undergraduate students in all majors at all campuses who plan to graduate no earlier than December 2018. Students can apply for funding of up to $4,000 per student.
Interested students are encouraged to attend the SURF Information Session on Wednesday, November 29 at 4:00pm to learn how to apply and what makes an application successful. The session will be held in Laurel Hall 202.
Note: The 2018 SURF Award application will open on Friday, December 1, 2017. The application deadline is Monday, January 29, 2018. More information on the SURF Award program can be found at: http://ugradresearch.uconn.edu/surf/.
