The Blueline Brass Band is a New Orleans Second Line-style brass band at the University of Connecticut who's sole purpose is to bring the party. Started by Jeremy Baouche, Joshua Hess, and Artie Koba the Blueline is the main source of tailgate entertainment at the UConn Football Games at Rentschler Field and also plays for on campus events such as the Storrs Farmer's Market and the Mansfield Day Parade. All of its members are volunteer and take time out of their own schedules to join in on the fun for weekly rehearsals and performances. Most are also members of the University of Connecticut Marching Band, and have a love for music which is truly unparalleled. Tonight will be a night celebrating New Orleans music with some of our favorite tunes!

This performance is part of the Ensemble in Residence Program, established by UConn's School of Fine Arts and Department of Music with an Academic Plan Grant from the Office of the Provost.
