    Volunteers Needed for a Research Study on Factors Influencing Return to Sport and Physical Function after ACL Surgery after ACL Surgery

    You may be eligible to participate in a research study.

    The purpose of this study is to examine factors that influence an individual’s decision to return to sport and level of physical function regained after ACL surgery.

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Physically active (currently participate in recreational or competitive athletics/activity)
    • 14-35 years’ old
    • Previously sustained a primary (first time) ACL injury
    • Required to have returned to activities since their surgery
    • Cleared by their physician to return to their pre-injury level of participation
    • Ability to understand and speak the English language in order to participate in interviews.

    The study will be completed in the Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Connecticut.
