  • 10/13 March to End Victim Blaming 2017

    (formerly known as SlutWalk)

The March To End Victim Blaming is a march, stomp, and rally to spread the notion that no matter who you are, no matter what you wear, no matter what your reputation is, you do not deserve to be sexually assaulted. We believe there is no excuse for rape, victim blaming, or a culture that promotes false stereotypes about sexual violence.

The event will be taking place from 4-7pm on Friday October 13th, beginning at the top of Fairfield Way near the Student Union bus stop.

This year's event features a march around campus followed by a student speak-out. After the event, there will be a discussion with refreshments in room 310 of the Student Union. T-shirts and pins will be sold at the event as well as in the Union during the week leading up to the event, and picket signs will be provided to all!
