Do you like working with kids? Do you want experience in the classroom? Do you want to make an impact on children who are struggling academically?
If so, apply to join America Reads!! We are a program through Community Outreach that offers one-on-one and small group tutoring in the classroom, during the school day, to children in grades Pre-K through 12th. It's about a 2-3 hour time commitment once a week, and we provide transportation! We work in schools in the Windham and Willington area, as well as in Hartford, giving you a broad range of academic environments to gain experience in.
