Interested in learning more about issues related to gun violence and gun violence prevention from a variety of perspectives?
NEXT MONDAY 9/18 UConn Against Gun Violence (UCAGV) will hold its first weekly meeting of the semester!
UConn Against Gun Violence is a collection of UConn community members discussing the issues of gun violence, both in urban and suburban areas, through community meetings and speakers. We are a non-partisan organization aimed at raising awareness and generating productive discussion. We host weekly meetings, as well as larger-scale events and collaborations with other on-campus clubs and organizations. In the past, we have hosted discussions with UConn Pistol and Rifle, held a "91%" documentary screening and panel, organized discussions on Women and Gun Violence and on Debunking the Second Amendment, and much more.
Weekly Meetings: Mondays at 7:30pm, Room TBA
