During this weekend long Alternative Break in Boston, participants will be staying directly in the city focusing on efforts to help the homeless population. It is an incredible way to learn more about this important social issue, the factors that influence it, and most importantly, how you can help. With a mixture of direct and indirect service, as well as team bonding, reflection and education, this trip is a great addition to your career here at UConn.
The trip is open to all majors and will be from November 3rd to November 5th. If interested, there will be an informational session for all the weekend trips on September 14th, 5pm at Benjamin Franklin Koons Hall (KNS) room 116!
