    This Fall 2017, the Humility & Conviction in Public Life project, in co-sponsorship with the Hartford Public Library, the Wadsworth Atheneum, and The Amistad Center for Art & Culture is proud to announce a brand new year of dialogues to the the greater Hartford community. Our Encounters Series is a program dedicated to fostering unexpected conversations around our most divisive issues.

    On Saturday, September 16, 10am-1pm we will Encounter the Voting Rights Act
