The UConn Pre-Medical Society's Alternative Break entitled UConn Bridge to Guanin will be holding information sessions for our upcoming trip (to be held over winter break). These information sessions will take place in Homer Babbidge Library in the Class of 1947 room on:
- September 10th @7pm
- September 17th @7pm
The application for this trip goes is now LIVE and is open until Sunday, September 24th.
This alternative break trip is a 10 day trip to La Piedra, a community in the Dominican Republic where we will be hosting medical clinics, running health education programs, working directly in the community, and will also be shadowing and working in hospitals located in the capitol of Santo Domingo.
All majors are welcome to apply, however, you should be interested in medicine!
