  • Apply for Unified Theater Student Leader Fall 2017

    Unified Theater is accepting Student leader and member applications for the fall semester.  Leader applications will be accepted until midnight on Tuesday, April 25th.  Member applicatons will be accepted at any time here or via email at unifiedtheateruconn@gmail.com.

    Unified Theater is a student organization focused on inclusion in theater. Learn more about the organization at www.unifiedtheater.org  Each semester, the UConn group writes, directs, produces, and performs a unique piece of theater incorporating acting, movement and dance.  We collaborate with students with and without disabilities in the STAAR program.  

    Rehearsals will take place during the day one or two days a week (times to be announced). Student leader responsibilities include scheduling and running rehearsals, coordinating inclusion training, making agendas, leading the creative process (writing, editing, staging, choreographing), and planning club events.  Member responsibilities include attening and participating in rehearsals and events, and the creative process.  A positive attitude, creativity and flexibility are important qualities for all Unified Theater students.

    No previous experience is required, we would love to see what unique skills and ideas you can bring to our group!
