  • 4/18 NACP We Still Live Here Film and Lecture

    Join the Native American Cultural Programs in viewing the film We Still Live Here followed by a Lecture by Dr. Van der Hulst a UConn Linguistics Professor. The film is 56 minutes and will be shown on Tuesday, April 18th in Laurel Hall Room 101 at 6:30pm. The story revolves around Jessie Little Doe Baird who went on an odyssey that would uncover hundreds of documents written in Wampanoag, lead her to a Masters in Linguistics at MIT, and result in an unprecedented feat of language reclamation by her people.
