UConn Early College Experience, Windham High School and Eastern Connecticut State University are collaborating to collect feminine hygiene products from March 27th through April 7th.
Many female students in the Windham area are unable to attend school during their cycle because they cannot afford these products. The UConn ECE HDFS class at Windham High School is bringing this issue to light and is looking for donations of unopened boxes of tampons and pads. These items will be distributed through Windham's No Freeze Shelter, Holy Family Shelter and Windham Area Interfaith Minstries (WAIM).
Donations can be made on campus at the UConn Woman's Center on the fourth floor of the Student Union and UConn CETL- Rowe 333.
