ANNOUNCEMENT
National Anthem Group Performance Competition
Dear CLAS students,
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is excited to announce the fourth annual National Anthem Performance Competition for the CLAS Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies. Two individuals/groups will be selected to perform the National Anthem at the beginning of one of the two CLAS Commencement ceremonies that will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 (1:00pm and 5:00pm in Gampel Pavilion).
Individuals/groups who are interested should contact Maryann Markowski in the CLAS Dean’s Office via email at clas_commencement@uconn.edu by Friday, March 10th.
The selection committee, which will include faculty, staff, and students from CLAS, will make every attempt to audition all individuals/groups during the last week in March 2017. After the committee has heard the auditions, they will select the two individuals/groups. Selections will be made no later than April 7th.
