The Sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. will be hosting a workshop on Islamophobia and Human Rights. Dr. Kathryn Libal, Director of the Human Rights Institute at the University of Connecticut, will facilitate this event. Key topics will include an overview of Islam, religious prejudice in the United States, the immigration ban, and the propensity for hate crimes in today's society. This will be a moderated discussion, so feel free to come with any questions. All are welcome to attend.
