    The UConn Symphonic Band will be performing at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7 at the von der Mehden Recital Hall. A number of unique and recognizable pieces will be performed throughout this captivating night, including Johan de Meij’s Lord of the Rings and The Tortoise and the Hare. Accompanied by compelling narration and various introductions from Dr. David Stern of the UConn Department of Dramatic Arts, this event is sure to appeal to music and storytelling enthusiasts alike.

     

     

    General admission is $10 and free for children and students. Tickets can be purchased online at vdm.ticketleap.com. Von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Rd in Storrs, located across from Mirror Lake. Plenty of free, well-lit parking is available just across the street.
