The UConn Wind Ensembles will stage the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Music Composition Prize Concert at 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 2 at the von der Mehden Recital Hall. This performance will include original compositions from the 2015 winner, David Dzubay, who will also be conducting. Dzubay has been nationally recognized for his impeccably creative original pieces which tell stories embodying an array of themes, including spirituality and personal sentiment.
Tickets can be purchased online at vdm.ticketleap.com. General admission is $10 and free for children and students. von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Rd in Storrs, located across from Mirror Lake.
