    Award Background/History: This scholarship was established in 1990 and sponsored by Stephen I. Cohen (’65′) in honor of his parents Martha and Albert Cohen.

    Award Description: This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student(s) in good standing on the basis of financial need and evidence of a significant active commitment to eliminating bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination and to foster tolerance and understanding among people in the last academic year. Preference is given to students who have actively participated in social service work, advocacy, or humanitarian work for improving inter-group relations.  Related activities/demonstration of commitment may extend beyond the University Community.

    Eligible Nominees: Full-Time Undergraduate Students

    Eligible Campuses: All Campuses

    Additional Eligibility Criteria: 1) Nominees must not have been on any form of academic probation during the past two semesters. 2) Nominees must not have been on any form of conduct-related probation during the past two semesters.

    Monetary Award: $750
