Diversity in Medicine is an event focused on discussing the role and importance of diversity throughout medicine, as an applicant to medical schools, as med student, and in the physician workforce. The goal is to expand discussion of diversity to not only medicine but to encourage others to continue these discussion in their respective fields. The event will consist of a panel of physicians and a discussion through prepared questions. Following this discussion, the panel will open to the audience for questions. Regardless if you are premed/in medicine-related fields or not, all students and faculty are invited to come learn more about the influence of diversity in medicine.
