Huskies International aims to provide an easier way for US students and exchange students to meet so that everyone has a better experience away from home. UConn students get the chance to meet students from around the world and to help them assimilate into campus life and American culture. We organize trips to give everyone more [affordable] ways to explore the region!
We have organized trips to Washington, D.C., New York City, Dave and Busters, and have more locations planned for this semester! Come to our FIRST MEETING tonight at 8pm in FSB 216 to hear what we have planned and what YOU can do as a member.
We coordinate two programs: HuskyMates and the Thanksgiving Exchange. HuskyMates is available so you can be paired with a UConn Student/International Exchange student and be HuskyMates for the semester! Events will be hosted with a collaboration with the Education Abroad office for everyone to come together for a social. The Thanksgiving Exchange is our fall program where a UConn student and Exchange student can experience a Thanksgiving celebration with a family.
Our E-Board application is also live for the organization. Questions may be answered at the meeting.
