    Get involved with STEM undergraduate research as a

    UConn McNair Fellow!

    Are you interested in learning how to become involved in a STEM undergraduate research project at UConn?

    Are you curious about what it means to be a graduate student and pursue a Masters or Ph.D. degree in a STEM field?

    If you are currently a freshman or sophomore, I encourage you to consider applying to be a UConn McNair Fellow!

     

    Email Dr. Renée at renee.gilberti@uconn.edu or visit the McNair office (Rowe CUE 204) to learn more & request a PDF application, which is due Monday, February 13, 2017 by 4pm

    + 1 letter of rec. is due Friday, February 24, 2017.

     

    Program dates: May 15 – 26, 2017

    As part of UConn’s TRIO programs, McNair is open to low-income, first-generation college students or those from populations underrepresented in STEM graduate fields.

    McNair Fellows reside on the Storrs campus, shadow STEM researchers, and engage in academic writing and presentation exercises.

    In addition to students at the Storrs campus, regional campus students are encouraged to apply.
