    CareLink-C: Self-Care Management Among Post-Incarcerated Persons

Center for Correctional Health Networks – Connecticut Institute for Clinical and Translational Science – UConn School of Nursing

Seeking students to start in spring semester who are interested in participating in a research project in Hartford and Windham Counties with four residential facilities for persons reentering the community from jail or prison.

Students will be trained to provide an individual or group level intervention at one or more of the four community-based group homes. In addition to implementing the intervention, you will collect health information/data following consent of clients.

Those students who provide two or more semesters of service will be eligible to be considered to continue during semester break with small paid stipends to sustain the program. Mileage reimbursement is available.

In addition to contributing to society, opportunities will exist to publish, present, and network professionally. You will learn about the community system of care. You must have transportation!
