Greetings Students,
Exciting news! The OPIM department is happy to announce a great opportunity for students that may be interested in the Internet of Things. The concept of IoT refers to the growing trend of internet-connected objects able to collect and exchange data using embedded sensors. We are offering a workshop this Friday, December 2nd from 1:00PM - 2:30PM. All workshops will be held in the OPIM Research Lab, BUSN 391 and food and refreshments will be made available.
We will be focusing on an introduction to the concept of Internet of Things and showing how intuitive it has become to connect devices and analyze the data they produce. There are only 20 spots available so please register now. Though this is the last scheduled workshop for the semester, check out the other workshops the OPIM department offers in anticipation for our spring schedule.
