Trace your ancestry back to a specific present day African Country of origin and to specific African Ethnic Groups.
Although Sankofa, would like to provide this wonderful opportunity to everyone, due to limited funding, we can only accept a small group of enthusiastic students. Undergraduate students at the University of Connecticut may participate at no cost.
*We use the MatriClan Test to determine which present-day African country and ethnic group you share ancestry with, from your maternal lineage (Your mother's mother's mother's line, going back 500-2,000 years).
