The Programs Oversight Committee is one of six committees in the Undergraduate Student Government that is responsible for the oversight of daily operations of different programs, such as the SOC (Student Organization Center), the New York Times Readership Program, and the Wall Street Journal Readership Program. The USG Programs Oversight Committee is responsible for origin of many of the major student-run organizations around campus today, such as RHA (The Residence Hall Association), SUBOG (Student Union Board of Governors), UCTV (UConn Television), and the Daily Campus.
The Programs Oversight Committee meets at 5p every other Thursday in SU 304C. No experience or dues necessary to join; come at any point in the semester to have your voice heard and to help others find theirs!
