  • 12/26 Spend Your Winter Break in Chilean Patagonia

    If you have been planning to participate in a study abroad trip befor you graduate, consider the beautiful and unique location of Chilean Patagonia! There are still spots available for a trip of a life time! This course has been designed for those students that have special interest in both the wildlife and domestic animals. Students will learn how the horse culture and associaed livestock has affected the Patagonian Flora and Fauna by visiting the impressive Torres del Paine National Park and three ranches in the vicinity. We also have a chance to observe and study wild horses and wildlife found in the park. If you like camping, mountains, horses, wildlife, wildlife behavior, glaciers, an outdoor classroom, this course is for you! 

    This course is taught by the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, and the Department of Animal Science.
