Brothers Sing On! Men’s Choir Festival, Jamie Spillane, director. 4PM, von der Mehden Recital Hall.
For one day only, come to the von der Mehden Recital Hall for the fourth annual men’s choir festival: Brothers Sing On! This event will bring together nearly 200 men from all across the Northeast to sing a variety of songs. Local UConn groups performing will include The Conn Men, A Completely Different Note (CDN), Baritone Ryan Burns, and the Asylum Hill Men. They will join the UConn Men’s Glee Club in a performance of Joel Thompson’s operatic Seven Last Words of the Unarmed. The performance will be held on October 15th at the von der Mehden Recital Hall at 4PM. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go towards relief of the devastation in Haiti from Hurricane Matthew. Don’t miss it!
