  • Seeking Participants: Hip Muscle Activation Study

     Study Title: Hip Muscle Activation during Functional Exercise

    The Human Performance Lab in Gampel Pavilion is conducting a research study investigating hip muscle activation during 8 functional exercises and is looking for female volunteers to participate. Potential participants must be:

    -recreationally active females (exercising at least 30 minutes per day, 3 days/week)

    -between the ages of 18-40

    -free from injury for at least 6 months

    Participation in this study is completely voluntary and will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete during a single test session. There are minimal risks associated with this research study, and they are no greater than when you are active or participating in sport.
