    All UConn students are invited to an information session about the UConn Honors Congressional Internship on Wednesday, September 14th from 3:30-4:30 in the Class of ’47 Room in the Homer Babbidge Library. This opportunity is open to all UConn students. Come learn more about interning in one of the Connecticut Congressional Delegation members’ offices in in Washington, DC. and earning course credit.     The Washington, D.C. Congressional Honors Internship Program is designed to give all UConn students of all majors the opportunity to work as interns with their Connecticut congressional representatives in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. The program includes a spring semester 35-hour per week internship with a State of Connecticut Congress member; twelve ungraded credits for your internship and academic work; various supplemental programming featuring guest speakers who are “D.C. insiders,” American politics scholars, and UConn alumni; and a community service project.
