  • Brighten Up Your Dorm Room @ UConn Blooms

Did you know that snake plants, peace lilies, English Ivy and Boston ferns can help clean the air in a room? Did you know that receiving flowers can have a long term positive impact on a person’s mood and can make a room more welcoming (a great way to bridge the gap with a new roommate)?

Here at UConn Blooms we aim to help increase knowledge of plants and flowers while also serving the UConn community as a retail operation benefiting the Plant Science Department. Come to our main location (open 10:30AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday) in the Floriculture Building, between the Church on the corner of 195 and N Eagleville (Storrs Congregational Church), to browse plants and flowers OR pick up a plant from UConn Blooms @ The Bookstore.  We hope to see you soon!
