The Mansfield Department of Public Works will begin the resurfacing of Lynwood Road, Ridge Road, Farmstead Road, and Costello Circle beginning on August 18, 2016 and expect to be completed within 15 working days.
PHASE 1: A contractor hired by the Town will mill off two inches of the existing pavement. This process will leave any catch basins exposed, which we will paint orange for visibility. The road surface will be rough, but travelable.
PHASE 2: After the milling is complete, another contractor will apply a new layer of asphalt to the street surface.
The Mansfield Department of Public Works asks that you do not park on these roads from 6:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. You will always have access to your driveway. However, when the equipment is directly in front of your driveway, access may be restricted for a few minutes. Please drive with caution during the course of this work.
