Members of the University community are invited to presentations on emerging social enterprises by students from North Africa this Thursday (1:00-2:30PM) in Storrs Hall/Nursing auditorium on the Storrs campus. UConn's Global Training and Development Institute has hosted 20 young entrepreneurs from North Africa (Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia) for the past 3 weeks. They are here on campus on a very competitive academic program funded by the U.S. State Department (SUSI program). Their time at UConn comes to an end this week and culminates in a 5-7 minute "pitch" to the audience about their enterprise followed by a few minutes for Q and A. The presentations (pitches) will take place during the times listed above. We hope you can make it!
