We invite UConn campus members to a solidarity breakfast to offer a space of unity and healing in light of the massacre at the Pulse Gay Night club. A diverse group of people were killed (50 people) and harmed (53 people), many from the LGBTQIA+ and/or Latinx communities. There will be a brief program at 9:15 am for reflection and to call the name of the victims. A continental breakfast will be served. The event will be in the Rainbow Center, 403 Student Union. This event is hosted by both the Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center & Rainbow Center, with additional sponsorship from Asian American Cultural Center, Women’s Center and the African American Cultural Center.
