A fast paced musical montage featuring the UConn Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Opera Studio and much more. This unique high-energy concert will be presented as one uninterrupted stream of exciting and captivating selections. The audience will experience a carefully arranged sonic potpourri featuring a thrilling version of Benny Goodman's Sing Sing Sing, the powerful Choral Fantasy by Beethoven, rollicking and electrifying saxophone and percussion ensembles, a soulful and heart warming version of Amazing Grace just to name a few of the many selections. The tremendous versatility of the UConn Music Department will be on glorious display as you listen to jazz, classical, pop, folk and all of the many styles that are produced here on the UConn campus.
This concert will be held at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, at 8 PM.
