Volunteer Opportunities

  • Become A Mentor With Strive For College

    Hello Everyone!

Strive for College- Uconn Chapter is officially beginning this Fall 2016! And we are thrilled to recruit new mentors who are willing to help low-income high school students pursue higher education.

Being a Strive mentor is not only about helping students throughout their college application, but it is also about inspiring and encouraging low-income high school students to achieve their dreams of pursuing higher education.

In addition, as a Strive mentor you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and, most importantly, to make a huge difference.

Who is eligible? - Pretty much everyone!

All we need from you is:
    • Availability to be an active mentor during both Fall and Spring semesters
    • Availability to attend biweekly online meetings on Saturdays
    • Your passion and dedication to help others!

If you are interested in this program, please send an email with your resume and unofficial transcript to Clara Ramirez or Andrea Naranjo to uconnstriveforcollege@gmail.com.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us as well.
