Candidates must be excellent communicators, display confidence and strong public speaking skills, have an interest in educating and assisting others, and demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of personalities and populations both independently and in a team setting. Career Interns (CI’s) perform the following duties and responsibilities:
• Critique résumés for undergraduate students.
• Present to student groups, organizations, and classes on career-related topics.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings at the beginning of each academic semester and throughout the year.
• Work with full-time staff members on career-related assignments and projects.
• Disseminate accurate information to students regarding services and programs offered by the Center for Career Development.
Interns must be able to commit to working 10-15 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters and participate in mandatory training the week before Fall 2016 classes.
