Hearts Over Latin America (HOLA) will have its second general meeting of the semester tonight in the Student Union Room 310 from 8-9pm. We are a student-run volunteer organization that seeks to make sustainable improvements in the quality of life of underserved communities in Latin America. We are open to all majors, and we offer the opportunity to network with faculty and fellow students while gaining experience in healthcare, business, and global affairs.
Our current focus is the indigenous Maya community of El Novillero in Guatemala, which we visited on an alternative break this past winter. If you are interested in participating in an alternative break or joining a friendly and motived group of students, then join us this Tuesday to learn more and get involved!
