  • The New Jim Crow Book Discussion

The Office of Community Outreach, the Human Rights and Action Learning Community, and UConn Reads invite you to join us for a three-session book discussion series on this year’s UConn Reads book, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander.  The discussion group will provide a framework for responding to Alexander’s book in a safe and trusting environment. Sessions will occur on Wednesdays, February 3rd, 17th, and March 2nd from 7pm-8pm in Koons Hall 302, and all materials and books will be provided. Participants are expected to attend all three sessions.
