Are you interested in meeting people from all over the world and helping them improve their English abilities? If so, volunteer for the English as a Second Language (ESL) Program!
The ESL Program allows UConn students to assist in a local ESL classroom to help adult students develop their English reading, writing, and verbal skills, and to learn more about American culture.
We are currently looking for volunteers for the Tuesday and Thursday morning classes. The classes run from 10 am to 1 pm and volunteers can select any 2 hours during this time to volunteer. The classes are at Mansfield Public Library (about 10 minutes from campus) and transportation is provided!
