UConnBlooms has a great assortment of succulents, cactus, tropical and blooming plants to decorate your room and add a bit of green! Succulents and cactus are able to thrive in a variety of enviornments because their spines and tough skins make them highly resistant to pests and predators. Their stems, leaves or roots can hold large amounts of water over long periods of time so a little bit of neglect is fine! Our foliage plants are green and lush in a variety of leaf sizes and shades. And if it's some dramatic color, the blooming african violets and orchids give you that in abundance.
Now also at the Co-Op, visit our two locations for all your plant and fresh flowers needs. Our main store, located in the Floriculture building has a whole greenhouse of exotic plants. We always carry a good assortment of roses and other flowers if you're looking for a bright cheery gift Nothing brightens a dreary winter day more than flowers!
UConnBlooms is located in the Floriculture Building, 1395 Storrs Road (across from the yellow barn). We are open Monday through Friday from 10:30 to 5:00. Parking is available in the driveway alongside our greenhouse near the Towers parking lot. You can also visit us at uconnblooms.uconn.edu.
