Don’t Wait – Estimate!
The 2016-2017 FAFSA is now available. If you haven’t done your taxes yet, it’s okay to estimate the amounts. You might want to base your estimates on last year’s tax return. After you file your taxes, you’ll need to log back in to the FAFSA and correct any estimated information that needs to be updated or use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to import the data directly from the IRS. Complete the FAFSA by visiting http://fafsa.ed.gov. Filing your FAFSA by UConn’s priority deadline of March 1st allows you maximum aid consideration.
