  • 1/20 Music of the Vietnam Era

Have you ever wanted to sing in a group, accompanied by a rock band, that examines issues around social justice? Well here’s your opportunity.

You are invited to join Earthtones, the UConn World Music Ensemble, as we delve into the music, history and culture associated with the Vietnam Era. The course concludes with a multimedia performance accompanied by the UConn Rock Ensemble. We welcome singers, instrumentalists, dancers, those with knowledge of Vietnamese language and songs and those with technical skills for this unique artistic experience.

Earthtones is open to all students (no auditions) and fulfills 1 credit towards the CA1 Arts and Humanities requirement. The course (FINA 1001/MUSI 1006) meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:30 in ML103.  Come join us.
