  • 12/8 Open Positions on RHA Executive Board

    OPEN TO RESIDENTS WHO LIVE ON CAMPUS ONLY!

    Dear Residents of UConn, 

     UConn RHA or the Residence Hall Association, is looking for two of their executive board positions to be filled. RHA is a tier three organization and represents every student that lives on campus. We program large and small scale events, advocate for residents needs as well as act as a bridge between students and other organizations/departments on campus. We are looking for dedicated and confident individuals to fill these roles in the Spring 2016 semester and onward. More information on who we are can be found at http://rha.uconn.edu/ .
     
    If interested please submit a short (5-12 sentences) letter of intent and be prepared to schedule an interview with members of our executive board between December 9-13th. If chosen, training will occur before the start of the Spring 2016 semester. Priority housing will be given if chosen to apply and continue role for succeeding years. 
     
    The roles available are:
     
    CFO- Chief Financial Officer. Financing the needs of the organization. Book keeping and organizational skills required. You will be paired with an adviser and work closely with the SABO office and Hall Associations across campus. 
     
    NCC- National Communications Coordinator. Connect RHA and UConn to other schools at conferences across the country. Will be required to attend every conference, put together delegations and represent UConn in the decision making on a national scale. Must be a spirited and energetic individual.
