The original Jonathan's Dream Playground was one of the first all-accessible playgrounds in the nation, built in 1996 in memory of Jonathan Barzach who passed away a year before from spinal muscular atrophy. In 2013, the West Hartford, CT based playground was deteriorating and torn down. For the month of December, with almost 2/3 of the money raised to build the new $1.2 million playground, all donations up to $50,000 will be matched by a donor!
