THE BENTON'S LIMITED EDITION ART STICKER SERIES CONTINUES...with the release of Sticker #2.
And it's a gem! -- a detail of the gold-crowned head of a skeleton from a painting featured in the museum's current exhibition, SACRED SISTERS: In Praise of Art & Poetry. The illustration by Holly Trostle Brigham is presented together with other works of hers and the poetry of Marilyn Nelson. Their collaborative exhibition explores issues relating to gender and creativity, religion and history, and the connection between text and image.
HERE'S HOW TO GET YOUR STICKER:
As with Sticker #1, "End Bad Breath," which was released in September, come visit the Benton and ask the attendant at the Welcome Desk just inside the front door. They will give you further instructions. Be prepared to show your Student ID and provide your email address to receive announcements when Stickers #3 and #4 are released through this academic year.
