The UConn Indian Students Association proudly presents our first social justice event, "UConn Goes Gulabi". This event is the first of its kind with ISA, and this year's theme is to spread awareness on the topic of Women's Empowerment. This event tackles the issue of rape culture, both in India and in our own community. This is inspired by an organization of women in India who are known as the “Gulabi Gang”. Gulabi means rose colored in Hindi and represents an initiative to empower women. Join us on Dec. 2nd from 6:30-8:00pm in ITE C80 and… #GOGULABI!
