    See Me?  K(no)w Me.

    2:30-5pm Friday November 6th – photo/story sessions

Asian American Cultural Center – SU 431 - 4th floor of the Student Union

In order to acknowledge and recognize the identities of this quickly growing population, the Asian American Cultural Center will be hosting an event today to document the experiences of students who identify as multi-racial and/or trans-racial adoptees.

Roberto Valentin and Sarah Lindahl will be hosting the event in the Asian American Cultural Center. If you identify as multi-racial and/or trans-racial adoptee, they invite you to come any time between 2:30-5pm to get a photo taken and tell your story of identity through guided questions provided.

An art installation will go on display the week of November 16th -20th to share the photographs and experiences of these students with the UConn community,  in order to build greater awareness of this diverse community of mixed identities.
