  • Community Outreach Migrant Workers Alt.Break

This Spring Break travel with Community Outreach on an Alternative Break trip to Immokalee, Florida! Participants will have the opportunity to lend their support to the nation’s growing migrant worker population. With over 3 million migrant workers living and working in poor conditions throughout the country, there are wide ranges of issues that need to be addressed. Potential service could fall under many different categories, including poverty, human rights, child labor, immigration, and healthcare.

More information and participant applications are currently available at communityoutreach.uconn.edu. Participant applications are due by noon on Wednesday, October 28th!
