Learn about funding available through the Office of Undergraduate Research to support creative endeavors and artistic projects, including:
• UConn IDEA Grants – Funding up to $4000 per student to support original, creative and innovative student-designed and student-driven projects. Applications are accepted from individuals and from small groups who plan to work collaboratively.
• SURF Awards – Funding to support summer creative projects or research supervised by UConn faculty. Awards provide up to $3500 in stipend and $500 in supplies per student.
• SHARE Awards – Spring semester apprenticeship that supports undergraduate research projects in the social sciences, humanities, and arts. Student apprentices receive a $1500 stipend.
• OUR Supply and Travel Awards – Funding of up to $500 for project or research expenses, or travel to conduct research or present work at professional events.
