  • 9/18 SlutWalk: A March to End Victim Blaming 2015 (HE)

Come support victims of sexual assault at this year's SlutWalk! The transnational movement began in Toronto, Ontario, when a police officer said that "women should avoid dressing like sluts" as a precaution against sexual assault. The movement began on the notation that no matter who you are or what you are wearing, you do not deserve to be sexually assaulted.

The event will begin at 4 pm at the end of Fairfield Way near the SU. After a brief introduction, we will march around campus and return to Fairfield Way for a speak-out.

After the speak-out, at about 6 pm, we will be having a debriefing/discussion with pizza in SU 310.

For those interested, this event is also an Honors Event.
