During this week-long alternative spring break this March UConn students will travel to NYC. The group will stay in the center of the historic LGBTQ rights district and will advocate for and learn about rights of the LGBTQ population. The group will then travel back to UConn for the last weekend and volunteer at the True Colors Conference. Particpants will meet 8 times prior to the weekend and will meet once or twice after the trip. No experience is needed working with the these populations.
There will be an information session on Thursday, October 22nd at 7PM in Laurel 308.
